Some of the UK Banks offer mortgages for International students to buy property in the UK.
Barclays offer an International Student Mortgage:

If you mean is it possible for an international student to obtain a mortgage to buy a house in the uk, then, yes it would be possible, however you would be subject to a credit check, and would require a deposit.
As you are an international student, you may have problems with the credit check.
It is not possible for ANYONE to buy a house ON MORTGAGE with their own money. By definition, a mortgage means you are using the BANK'S money.
